Jayanta Mukhopadhyay - Digital Health Symposium and Roundtable

Abstract: For more than two decades, in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Kharagpur, telemedicine systems and and associated technologies are being developed through several projects funded by Government as well as Non-government orgnanizations. Telemedicine systems went through several stages of evolution, while being deployed in hospitals in West Bengal, Tripura and in some other states. The system is also available in the public domain (https://github.com/jmGithub2021/iMediXcare) as an open source software and its customised versions are presently running in the BC Roy Technology Hospital, IIT Kharagpur and in Ramakrishna Misssion Home of Services, Varanasi. We will share our experiences on development and deployment of this technology.
