About: Dr. Siva Teja Kakileti has 8+ years of experience in AI/ML for Medical Imaging. He is one of the founding members and Principal Research Scientist at Niramai. He co-authored 30+ international publications, 3 book chapters and is an inventor for 25 international granted patents (8 US, 12 India, 2 Japan, 2 Singapore, 1 Europe). He is also a key contributor and a lead ML expert for different products that are CE certified and FDA approved. He played a key role in the analysis of clinical studies conducted by Niramai. He was listed in Forbes30Under30 India, Forbes 30Under30 Asia, BW HealthcareWorld 30Under30 as a young achiever in healthcare. He was a recipient of EBCC 2022 fellowship, UKIO bursary 2023, DAAD WISE fellowship 2014 and was offered MITACS Globalink Fellowship in 2014. He is also the lead organizer/Editor for AIIIMA, a MICCAI workshop and a forum with an aim to encourage research using AI over Infrared images for medical applications. He was awarded PhD degree by the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences of Maastricht University, The Netherlands and Bachelors of Technology degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. Prior to Niramai, he worked in health care analytics group at Xerox Research Centre India as a Budding Scientist for 1.5 years.
